ilko Architecture Ltd is Auckland based practice founded in 2018 by Illia Ovsiiko
Illia is New Zealand Registered Architect with more than 15 years of professional experience. The practice delivers holistic, creative solutions to architectural design, challenges design opportunities that profit from the attributes of physical environment and multilayered built, historical and cultural context, enhanced setting, respecting natural environment and use of sustainable principles.
We offer full architectural services, from mater plan and concept,developed and detailed design phases, to project completion Our experience includes civic/public & institutional projects,urban design, mixed use multi-unit & single house residential, new commercial and alteration / renovation projects.
We are expert architectural lead consultants with in depth knowledge of BIM technologies, 3D modelling, project documentation, and graphical representation.
Illia Ovsiiko has B.Arch(Honos), graduated from Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture, Ukraine in 2005. Since graduation he worked with renowned LIK Architectural Studio on local and international residential and commercial projects in Moscow, Kyiv and Kuwait before he moved in New Zealand with his family in 2011 He joined Stiffe Hooker Architects to work on a range of commercial projects, such as Silverdale Centre . In 2014 Illia joined Jasmax where he worked on civic and educational projects including Rototuna High School, Hamilton. In 2016 he joined RTA Studio where he has been working on a range of high profile mixed use residential and commercial projects such as Auckland Waterfront Apartments, Orams Site 18, Alexandra Park.
